KELLI | TROUBLESHOOTING TEAM VOLUNTEER

Kelli joined Embrace May of 2021 with the hope to help diabetics get the supplies they need. Her older brother was diagnosed as T1D over 30 years ago when he was only 16. “I have watched him struggle to get supplies over the years and it's awful. I was diagnosed with Gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my youngest son in 2012, and then with Type 2 when I was 35. Almost 2 years ago I was diagnosed as Type 1.5 (I never knew that was a thing)” - Kelli

Outside of Embrace she has been married to her husband, Chas, for almost 13 years and have 2 boys, Jayden who is 12, and Noah, who is 9. They have 1 dog and 3 cats. Kelli has worked in the medical field for the last 22 years. She was a medical assistant for 20 years in dermatology and neurology. About 2 years ago she took an administrative position at a local hospital where she supports a group of over 60 doctors. Kelli’s family LOVES going on amusement parks. This past summer they visited 5 different parks. (4 Cedar Fair parks and Dollywood).
