Katie | Packing and Shipping Team Volunteer

Katie happened upon the Embrace Foundation when she was looking for a place to donate diabetes supplies after a family member passed. She doesn’t have diabetes but has many people in her life that do. She ended up checking out all of the Embrace social media and I felt drawn to the message. As she puts it, “No person should ever have to wonder if they can afford medication or supplies that they need.” She started volunteering with Embrace in November 2021 onsite in Arizona. Outside of volunteering, she works as a psychiatric nurse and spends her free time playing with my dog, Milo, taking him on hikes and dancing with him in her living room.
